Audit and Accountancy role

A fast growing and respected accountancy practice are seeking an experienced accountant for a job at their Leicester offices. Working in this highly pleasant and modern office, you will be part of an established team and have the opportunity to develop your role and / or study qualifications if you wish. This job is equally relevant to someone happy at the level they are working and not studying. You will be responsible:

•          For accounts and tax computations for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies from clients' records.
•           You will also be responsible for the preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT.
•          Leading of audit assignments (from planning through to completion) for audit engagements for companies and charities.
•          IT skills: MS office especially Excel and Outlook is essential. Experience of VT accounts and taxcalc would be advantageous but not essential.
•          Good communicators are sought.
•          Applicants ranging from fully qualified (ACA / ACCA) accountants through to part qualified or AAT level semi seniors can be considered.
•          Applicant preferable from the Leicestershire region with a full UK driving license.
