Roving Mortgage Underwriter

We are pleased to be working on behalf of an established UK mortgage lender who are seeking to further expand their team of Roving / On-Site Mortgage Underwriters due to increasing demand and growth of the organisation.

The main purpose of the role is to effectively manage underwriting referrals from Packagers working with them and the National Account Managers to underwrite new applications and agreement in principles on site to improve the quality and quantity of business from chosen partners.

Candidates need to come from a mortgage underwriting background and currently hold an underwriting mandate within either the prime or specialist lending arena. Currently or previous Roving / On-Site Underwriting experience if preferred but not essential. You will be able to demonstrate a full understanding of TCF, responsible lending and FSA guidelines. Ideally candidates will be CeMAP qualified although this is not essential.
