Assistant Accountant Job- Management Consultancy - Ongoing temporary role - Excellent progression - London

A growing management consultancy has recently taken on a number of new clients due to their recent success. This has created an assistant accountant job, where you will be primarily focusing on new business as well as maintaining the existing client base. In the last few years they have seen real success and grown considerably, and this growth is not expected to stop.

Your new role
You will be responsible for assisting the management accounting in this job by working with accruals, prepayments, cashflow forecasting, preparing the balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with transactional finance when required. The management accountant is keen to give you as much exposure to month end accounting as you are looking for.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience within transactional finance and assisting a management accountant or senior member of staff previously. Exposure to the accounting package Sage Line 50 or 200 would be a real bonus, but you will also be considered if you have experience with SAP, Oracle or another large ERP system. You will also need to be a part qualified CIMA or ACCA studier.
