management accountant

My client are looking for a talented and dedicated Management Accountant to join their team.

Working as part of an 8 strong finance team reporting into our Financial Controller, the key
responsibility for this role will be looking after the monthly management accounts, and
ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and within the given timeframe.
THE JOB ROLE
Accurate and timely preparation of monthly management accounts
including but not limited to Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Account and
Trial Balance.
Preparing monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and revaluations
Preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly VAT compliance
along with associated Intrastat and EC Sales Listings.
Generating VAT reports and providing information to foreign VAT registrations
Providing assistance in processing supplier invoices, credit notes, expense
claims, credit cards and raising invoices to recharge expenses to clients
Assisting in covering absence for other members of the Finance Team
Assisting in the provision of information during the year-end audit
Other various duties for the Head of Finance and Financial Controller as
required
Phone answering and general admin tasks to ensure a smooth running
finance office

Experience of working with Sun Accounts would be an advantage
Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
Good working knowledge of cross border VAT regulations
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Clear and concise written and oral communication skills
