We have a vacancy for a part time Assistant Cook at our nursery located in the heart of Jesmond. You will be joining an Ofsted Outstanding, friendly and professional team who are committed to providing all children with the highest level of care. Hours of work - 11.30am-5pm Monday to Friday.
You would work alongside our Nursery Cook and be responsible for ensuring the children experience variety of healthy balanced and nutritious foods through providing a 'high-tea'.
You will also be involved in the preparation of freshly prepared meals and snacks. You will provide food which suits varying dietary requirements including allergies. You will be able to help maintain stock levels and ordering new supplies, as well as being involved with adhering to budgets. You will be responsible for closing tasks in the kitchen areas in accordance with the Safer Food Better Business regulations and following all Health and Safety regulations.
