My client, a market leading international multidisciplinary Engineering and Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Principal Hydrologist who specialises in Water Resources to join an established team of specialists based in Bristol.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline and have achieved or are close to achieving chartered status.
Applicants are required to have experience completing and managing Hydrological and Water Resources Projects for Local Authorities, Water Companies or Private Sector Clients.
It is also essential for applicants to specialise in Hydrology, Flood Estimation and Water Resources and have experience completing Flood Estimation using FEH and ReFH, Hydrological Assessments, Water Framework Assessment, Low Flow Assessments and Drought Assessments.
It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience completing Flood Risk Assessments or Surface Water Management Plans.
As a Principal Consultant you will join and manage a team of specialist Consultants based in Bristol. As a Principal team member you will be expected to manage Hydrological, Flood Risk, Water Resources Projects for Private and Public Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies.
The role will also involve mentoring junior team members, preparing bid proposals and completing and checking technical work including Flood Risk Assessments, Hydrological Assessments, Flood Estimation using FEH and ReFH, Drought Assessments, Water Framework Assessment and Low Flow Assessments.
