Senior Motor Trade Underwriter

The role will entail underwriting both new and existing Motor Trade business, with premiums ranging from GBP1k to GBP100k. The Underwriter will also have management responsibility for a team of 3 Underwriters and deal with complex referrals from the team. The successful candidate will also be expected to forge relationships with independent Brokers across the Kent and Sussex region.

Strong technical underwriting experience in Motor Trade is essential for this role, either from a specialist background, or a multi-line environment. Both trading and account management skills are highly desirable along with exposure to mid-market business.
