This is an opportunity to join a highly successful manufacturing business in Rotherham and continue to invest heavily in their state of the art manufacturing facilities.

Due to increased growth, they currently have several vacancies for experienced CNC operators / programmers. They are a well established engineering organisation and have seen consistent growth over the last 25 years. You would be joining a secure business with excellent working conditions, using the most up to date machinery.

The successful candidate will machine components to the highest standard on CNC lathes and will provide exceptional customer service whilst striving to keep a clean and safe working environment. They have several vacancies available on the following shift pattern:
The following shifts are available:
Pattern A: 4-Day Shift - Early / Late
Mon to Wed - 6am to 4pm / 4pm to 2am
Thurs - 6am to 3.30pm / 3.30pm to 1am

Principal Accountabilities:
- To manufacture components to drawings in stainless 316L and Phosphor Bronze on multiple machines.
- Work to tight deadlines in a pressurised working environment to fulfil their corporate promise of exceptional customer service.
- Verifying and editing CAM programmes in order to ensure components are manufactured to the desired quality and efficiency standards.
- Interpret complex engineering drawings
- Perform quality checks as per procedures using measuring equipment and/or CMM
- Strictly adhere to safe working practices and highlight any potential hazards to relevant team leaders.
- Maintain a clean work area.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
- NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) or above in engineering / manufacturing
- Knowledge of engineering drawings
- Experience of using manual measuring equipment
- Previous experience of working in an engineering environment
- Previous experience of setting and operating CNC lathes
- Desire to provide exceptional customer service
- Eager to assist in the continuous improvement of the organisation
