Introduction

We need:
Customer Service Consultants in our Northampton Admin Centre. GBP16,000 increasing to GBP16,500 a year upon completion of probation period on a Permanent contract working 35 hours with flexible shifts falling between 6am - 10pm Monday to Sunday.
We are looking for consultants to join our mortgage telephony service centre in Northampton, where we deliver excellent telephony service to all customers, both internal and external. We ensure we maintain high quality standards and always make sure the customer is at the heart of everything we do.

Who we're looking for

You don't need experience in call centres or mortgage's for this role, we are looking for customer focused candidates who have the right attitude and enthusiasm for always ensuring the customer gets the best outcome.

As a minimum requirement you'll:

- Excellent Verbal and Written communication.

- Confidence in taking ownership for each call.

- Able to make and explain decisions clearly.

- Willingness to learn.

- Ability to follow processes and policies.

- Able to manage you time effectively.

It would be nice if you also had:

- Customer service experience, however we look to train all the skills needed.

What you'll be doing

As a Customer Service Consultant, you'll respond to enquiries by phone, you will be speaking to our members but a high proportion of the calls you take will be from brokers and solicitors. You'll exceed expectations by delivering a personal, accountable, friendly and knowledgeable service and always ensuring a high level of accuracy is maintained.

You'll always be thinking about the customer and proactively maintaining your product, process and systems knowledge to a high level, making sure enquiries are serviced accurately and with minimal referrals thereby driving a high first time resolution rate and positive customer experience. You'll support other departments, as per the demands of the business through flexibility, it'll also be important to take responsibility for your Personal Development to improve personal performance.
