Experienced Architectural Technician
West Sussex
We are pleased to be working with a reputable practice that are looking to employ an experienced Architectural Technician to join their hardworking Architectural division ion the outskirts of Bognor Regis, West Sussex on a full time permanent basis.
Building upon recent progress and successes, with a rapidly expanding client base, they now require a full time experienced Architectural Technician to join them.
This vacancy would best suit a career driven, challenge hungry individual who wants to work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment where they will be given the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. The team work on a variety of projects across the commercial, residential, education, community and masterplanning sectors therefore prior experience of working as a Technician or Technologist on projects within these sectors would be essential.
Specific Roles & Responsibilities
* Production of concept design, planning, building regulations and detail design drawings
* Attending office and site/design meetings if/when required
* Client/Contractor/Supplier liaison
* Feasibility Study preparation (i.e. drawings, graphics and presentation)
* Specification Writing
* Responsibility for project management
* Organised filing of all project documentation and electronic files
Key Qualities
* Ability to produce working drawing packages
* Ability to work autonomously, remain self-motivated and maintain good time management
* Attention to detail
* Clear communicator
* Excellent knowledge of current building legislation
* Friendly 'can-do' attitude
