Credit Analyst

Cherry Professional are currently recruiting a Credit Analyst for an established Nottingham based client. This role is being offered on a Fixed Term basis, scheduled to last 9 months.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, this is a challenging and all-encompassing role looking for someone with previous relevant experience.

What you will be required to do;

-Undertake credit checks for New Account requests
-Setting of credit limits
-Liaise with credit insurers and brokers
-Review and process increased limit requests
-Work with credit controllers to understand accounts that are at risk, or where payments are overdue, and assess and update limits accordingly
-Develop and maintain systems to pro-actively manage exposure levels in line with approved credit limits.
-Ad hoc reporting on investigations as and when they're needed
-Along with the Financial Controller, identify opportunities for continuous process improvement in the credit management operation.
