Job Description LOCATION: Cranfield (near Milton Keynes), Buckinghamshire
JOB TITLE: Part Time Administrative Assistant / Office Assistant
SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP 8-9 per hour
WORKING HOURS: (20 hours per week) 4 hours per days Monday to Friday (Negotiable)
THE COMPANY: Our clients are specialists in designing and building commercial interiors with over twenty years experience covering the Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Cambridgeshire area whose clients range from small businesses to large International organisations.
Due to increased business growth they now seek an experienced and highly organised Part Time Administrative Assistant / Office Assistant with good typing and IT skills to join their head office at Cranfield, near Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire to cover 20 hours a week which will be split over 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday (actual hours negotiable for the right candidate).
THE ROLE: As a Part Time Administrative Assistant / Office Assistant you will work within a team and will provide a varied range of admin support including secretarial and personal assistant duties, diary management, taking and handling incoming phone calls, liaising on orders and booking fits. This is a varied role where tasks will range on a regular basis and could be asked to assist with other duties on an ad hoc basis.
THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate for the Part Time Administrative Assistant / Office Assistant's role should be an enthusiastic and highly organised person with at least 2 years previous experience in a similar admin/office/secretarial role. You will need to be good at multitasking, have excellent typing skills and be proficient at using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook as well as someone who has excellent communication skills both verbal and written. You should also be a responsible and reliable person with a good initiative and keen eye for attention to detail.
Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Part Time Administrative Assistant / Office Assistant role in Cranfield (near Milton Keynes), Buckinghamshire :-
Must have 2 years previous experience in a similar role
Excellent communication and organisational skills essential
Good typing and IT skills with experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Must be able to commute to Cranfield (near Milton Keynes), Buckinghamshire
