Job Title: Painters Labourer / Assistant Painter

Fixed term contract for up to 2 years

Salary: National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage

Based: Manchester

Start Date: ASAP

About The Painters Labourer / Assistant Painter Role:

The purpose of this role is to carry out various site duties under the guidance of the Painter, to a range of external properties in the Grove Village, Manchester area. You will assist the team to provide an efficient labouring service. You will be able to produce work to a high standard and ensure that it's carried out in accordance with Health & Safety procedures at all times.

Painters Labourer / Assistant Painter Main duties will be;

Assisting the Painter and Project Manager
Preparing job sites for painting and associated tasks
Keeping area clean and tidy whilst we are working
Building temporary structures
Provide a delivery and collection service as required by the Project Manager
Planning, co-ordinating and undertaking delivery of materials to and from projects
The successful Painters Labourer / Assistant Painter for this role will have the opportunity to develop skills in painting/ finishing.

The ideal Painters Labourer / Assistant Painter:

To be successful in this role, you must have experience of working on sites ideally in the social housing market. The ideal candidate should demonstrate stamina, physical strength, attention to safety and detail as well as good time management. You will be reliable with a positive attitude to work, a willingness to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
You will have excellent communication and customer service skills whilst being committed to providing a responsive customer orientated service.
A Full Driving Licence is desirable for this role.
