Be proactive in leveraging best practice, methodologies and tools across departmental functions where regulatory compliance is required.
Develop and maintain a ride-specific library of Engineering Codes of Safe Working Practice (ECoSWP) to an agreed format embracing technical and safety related content, ensuring agreed quality practices are followed.
Maintain all other relevant documents as directed, ensuring that quality principles and practices are observed at all times.
Communicate mandatory legislation, generic guidance and corporate policy requirements and support implementation of necessary instruments and tools throughout Thorpe Park that help to demonstrate compliance with specifications and rules.
Critique and audit as necessary existing TP documentation to assess current fitness for purpose and apply quality management principles in terms of currency, appropriateness and retention or redundancy.
Under the stewardship of Health and Safety, support initiatives to manage and control the activities of discipline-specific contractors (Technical Services), particularly those engaged in undertaking safety-critical work or activities.
Participate in self development activities with the objective of becoming a sought out Subject Matter Expert that is able to advise on compliance and technical training matters across the business.
Demonstrate essential supervisory skills and role model appropriate behaviours when providing direction to direct reports.
Develop and apply acquired skills in both qualitative and quantitative analysis for inclusion in summary reports on Compliance and Training activities.
