Abatec have an exciting new role for a Mechanical Fitter to join a leading manufacturing company based in Clevedon, near Bristol and the M5 corridor, specialising in vacuum and exhaust-management systems to the semi-conductor industry.
Salary, Location and Hours
- GBP10.62 per hour PAYE / GBP13.84 Umbrella/Ltd + generous overtime rates
- Based in Clevedon, Near Bristol
- 0800 - 1600 Monday to Friday, with overtime available throughout the week, Saturday and Sunday.
As a Skilled Mechanical Fitter your duties will include:
- Assembling machinery / systems in the form of cabinets and frames
- Making/building sub assemblies (pneumatics, valves, pipe work, bending)
- Fitting pipe runs into frames
- Light assembly work, all equipment/tools will be provided
An ideal Skilled Mechanical Fitter will hold the following skills and experiences:
- A mechanical background, although multi-skilled would be an advantage
- Will have experience within an automotive or manufacturing background
- No formal qualifications are required, but you must be able to demonstrate a good understanding of hand tools and basic mechanical drawings
