Paraplanner

NJR are currently working with an award winning Law firm based in the heart of Nottingham city centre, who specialises in personal and commercial law across the East Midland area and now have an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and talented Paraplanner to join their prestigious Wealth Management division.

The main purpose of the role will be to analyse information, conduct research, and produce suitability reports including compliance requirements to assessing Clients suitability.

Responsibilities

• Receiving instructions during debriefings from advisers following client meetings
• Interpreting data obtained by advisers during client meetings
• Analysing data and using research tools to provide solutions to meet client needs and objectives
• Providing records to support research undertaken
• Consolidation of client needs and objectives, together with there commendations and course of action in a written format via suitability reports, client specific illustrations and key features document
• Carrying out all tasks in a manner consistent with compliance procedures
• Preparation of existing client files ready for reviews
• Working out IHT Calculations
• Ensuring all client files is compliant on an ongoing basis
• Carrying out research and analysing products and services that is appropriate to each client's financial circumstances
• Proposing and drafting financial solutions that meet each client's goals, needs and objectives

The successful candidate will need to have proven experience working as a Paraplanner with knowledge of Investment and Pension processes and procedures. You will ideally be level 4 Diploma qualified, or working towards the CII exams.
