This new family restaurant is looking for a determined, forward thinking, trustworthy and reliable second chef or chefette to join their fantastic vibrant team in their wonderful new concept twist on fish and chips.
You will be able to work comfortably within a tight team as well as on your own initiative, have an eye for detail and be consistent to a very high standard. You will have the hunger and drive to succeed and support the head chef, be able to bring idea's for special's and of course, willing to learn.
You will have full knowledge of cossh, haccaps, temperature controls and recording, kitchen cleaning rota's, allergen documentation and awareness.
You will be required to have at least two to three years experience with checkable work references.
You will also hold the necessary chef grades for this position or equivalent. 706 1 & 2.etc.
Thus, they consider a permanent position and full time. 45 hours over five days.
The first stage will be the initial interview where they will talk through the concept, menu's etc. You will also be asked to do a simple cook off.
The second stage to the successful candidate is a second interview with them and their director and owner where salary and contract will be discussed etc.
The successful candidate will then be contacted for a start date and induction.
