Established market leading fuel handling equipment supplier is looking to recruit a Business to Business Customer Services Assistant to join a growing team.
The job of the Customer Service Assistant is to be based in the Sutton Coldfield office. The role will involve dealing with customers by telephone and being part of the sales admin team.
Responsibilities
- To effectively answer incoming telephone calls and be a first point of contact for the company with new and existing customers
- Liaise with customers on all aspects of the sales process from order process to delivery
- Handle customer queries and amendments
- Identify when a customer needs sales support and pass onto the sales team
- Enter all sales related information onto company software system
- Support the sales team with day to day admin duties
- Issue price and stock guidance to the customer
- Deal with every customer in a pleasant and professional manner
Skills
- Excellent level of customer service and communication skills
- Good listening skills; being able to understand and manage customers concerns and needs
- Writing email responses to customers in a professional manner
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to identify sales opportunities to refer to proactive sales
- Can multi-task and have good organisational and time management skills
- Computer literate
- Must be self-motivated and have excellent team working skills
Experience
- Previous customer service and admin experience in a B2B role is a necessity
- Experience in an Industrial product Customer Service role (would be beneficial but not essential)
- Experience working within an E-Commerce environment is desirable but not essential
- A minimum of one year's customer service experience gained in a call centre/ call centre type environment
