We here at Witton Recruitment have an opportunity with an industry leading reseller based within the heart of Cirencester looking to grow and recruit a powerful Credit Controller. Experience is necessary and this is a very rewarding role with both rewarding bonuses and career progression.
This Credit Controller role will include:
• Build and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Global sales teams, BPO partners, finance leadership and customers
• Own responsibility for managing customer accounts receivables ledgers and dispute & inquiry resolution
• Evaluate, identify & address underlying internal & external process issues that impact the company, order entry accuracy, etc.
• Oversee cash allocation to ensure accuracy
• Work with Credit Risk team to maintain appropriate limits and insurance levels
• Provide regular commentary and cash flow predictions to management
• Partner with customers to identify & resolve inquiries, underlying process issues, support data requests & other factors influencing the finance-focused relationship with partners.
• Partner with Sales organisation and order processing teams to reduce invoices in query
• Develop and improve data flow, ensure accurate record keeping, where necessary
• Provide information on request to management
To be considered for this Credit Controller role you will need:
• General knowledge of networking and communications technology
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Prior knowledge of SAP highly desirable
• Extensive knowledge of accounts receivables & dispute management required
• Knowledge of E2E order to cash cycle, procurement & payables processes
• Ability to partner with stakeholders across different functions internally and externally
• Strong business acumen and ability to prioritise conflicting needs in a fast paced environment
• Knowledge of the technology distribution industry is beneficial
• Must exhibit exceptional customer service skills while being able to maintain focus on exceeding financial metrics
Qualifications
Chartered Institute of Credit Management designation preferred but not essential
Background with advanced account receivables, credit risk, dispute inquiry
