If you’re a highly organised HR professional looking to take your next step into a senior position, this is a brilliant opportunity to progress your career with a market-leading business.

As the UK’s largest independent drinks wholesaler, LWC Drinks strive to deliver the best customer service in the industry, as well as an impressive portfolio of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. We’re now looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join our team.

At LWC, our goal is clear. People are at the heart of everything we do and we want to create an environment where all employees enjoy their work and perform at their best. You will have the chance to play a key role in this vision, make a positive, lasting impact on our culture and change our business for the better.

As the Senior HR Advisor, you’ll develop, advise on and implement LWC Drink’s HR policies.

In this important role, you will lead and manage our small HR & Payroll Team to deliver a comprehensive HR and payroll service to the business.

Providing advice and guidance to Managers, you will ensure that we recruit the right people for the business and that training and development opportunities are available to all employees.

Additionally, your duties will involve:

- Running and supporting the fortnightly payroll run
- Coaching Managers on performance management issues and processes
- Implementing the training and development agenda
- Introducing new reward and benefit initiatives
- Managing talent and succession planning
- Visiting Senior Managers at regional distribution centres to advise them on people issues

Interested? To be considered, you will need:

- Experience in an HR role
- Previous management and/or supervisory experience
- At a minimum, a CIPD Level 5 qualification

Articulate and adaptable, as the Senior HR Advisor, you’ll be able to build rapport with senior decision-makers. You’ll also be proactive and driven with the ability to motivate others and effectively prioritise your workload.

Previous experience in a fast-paced, blue collar environment would be beneficial to your application, as would knowledge of the apprenticeship levy.
