Part Time Age Better Peer Mentor Coordinator - Sheffield (S7)

- Hours: 14.8 hours (2 days)
- Salary: £19,048 (pro rata)
We are looking for a Coordinator to manage our Age Better Peer Mentor programme.
The post holder will recruit and support volunteer Age Better peer mentors to support older people who are socially isolated or at risk of social isolation.
The post holder will work closely but not exclusively with the Sheffield Mind Counselling & Therapy Service, who operate an Age Better Emotional Wellbeing (counselling) service.
You will be required to:
- Identify and develop volunteering opportunities for the Sheffield Mind Age Better peer mentors
- Recruit, induct and supervise peer mentors
- Liaise with other service leads to identify activities and events that would be appropriate for clients to participate in.
Experience of recruiting, developing and supporting volunteers is essential and working with older people is desirable.
