Excellent opportunity for an experienced and trainee Plant Fitter to join a well-established company based in Tipton!
Company
Established for over 30 years, the company is a specialist contractor in the investigation & stabilisation of shallow mineworkings.
Due to exceptional growth the company now requires an experienced Plant Fitter and also an apprentice Plant Fitter to join their team. You will be expected to complete a variety of tasks to include;
- Service repair and cleaning of vehicles and machinery operating from the Tipton facility
- Troubleshooting and problem solving
- Adhering to health & safety
Over time it is anticipated that the less experienced candidate will gain knowledge working on our heavier plant and drilling rigs, to become competent with hydraulic and electrical control system.
Candidate requirement
The candidate will ideally have experience in maintaining construction plant and motor vehicles and be able to demonstrate an ability to undertake service and repair, while maintaining workshop service schedules and records.
Candidate must be physically fit and able to work outdoors on occasions, and have good communication skills. You should have a desire to learn and develop with the job. A full clean driving licence is essential.
Possession of current CITB CSCS/CPCS qualification would be beneficial.
