Summary of the main job responsibilities

Background - Provide loans to members of partner golf clubs to enable them to pay annual membership fees (typically GBP600 to GBP1,200 per annum). Over the last 6 months or so, we have worked with a previous competitor to merge and migrate their business across to us. We now wish to integrate the FF and our original golf businesses into one under the brand Golf Finance (GF), re-launch to the market and drive this new business on from its current level of GBP5m (annual lending value) to GBP10m within the next 2 years. This new role focuses on the transformation and ongoing support of our Golf business will have a vital impact on the successful achievement of this vision - main responsibilities

- Coordination - to be acknowledged as the GF 'subject matter expert' within the business - i.e. the focal point coordinating activities cross-functionally between GF Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations.

- Knowledge transfer - ensuring that we glean all relevant information from the existing FF team (e.g. understanding the more detailed nuances and reasons etc).

- Product management:

- In conjunction with the wider GF team, integrating the existing GF and FF products and streamlining them into the new wider GF product portfolio.

- Undertaking smaller scale projects aimed at improving GFs competitiveness and efficiency so it is scalable for the business growth that is planned etc. For example, identifying and managing process improvements to make the product and the customer experience better (e.g. root cause analysis).

- Administration - dealing with queries (e.g. from clubs, operational and financial), resolving issues and arranging club set-up on our system etc.

- Sales and Marketing support:

- General support and new lead qualifications/referrals to the GF Sales manager.

- Existing golf club management.

- Managing the GF database on our CRM system (e.g. data, cleansing etc) and pipeline management etc.

- Working with the marketing team to help shape sales support material, website references and new business campaigns etc.

- Reporting - providing ongoing reporting to update on business results, market insights, status updates on projects and initiatives etc.

Personal Profile

- Business knowledge (to be trained/developed over time) - a good knowledge of the Zebra Finance infrastructure e.g. our systems, processes, organisation (who does what etc) and our business culture etc.
- Drive & determination - demonstrating a 'can do' attitude, challenging (e.g. to get best and logical outcomes for the vision of the business we are building rather than remaining with the status quo) and 'not letting go'.
- Problem solver - takes ownership and is able to determine what the problem is and work quickly and efficiently to resolve it.
- A good team worker - works effectively with colleagues across the business but can design and lead teams needed to resolve particular problems/issues.
- Customer focused - ability to relate well to golf club clients and/or their members to determine their needs and/or resolve any issues referred through.
- Organisation - to help us streamline this part of our business (which is going through a major transition) better for the future, critically review and improve processes etc.
- A knowledge and/or interest in golf would be beneficial.
