Quantity Surveyor
Leicester
3 Month initial contract
GBP200 - GBP300 p/d based
We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who has preferably a construction engineering background who is pro-active in their approach; works on a hands on basis that is able to take control of the contract completing the admin tasks.
- Ability to review client contracts (NEC3 option A, C, E), ensure compliance to them
- Ability to identify and manage project risks
- Ability to identify and manage project changes
- Ability to create commercial contracts with supply chain
- Ability to work as a key member of our project delivery team
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and be a good team player
- Must hold a current CSCS Card
UK travel (expectation of site visits on a regular basis)
To deliver accurate valuation of project works including variations/compensation events together with reporting of costs in connection with the Project Manager and team.
Advise and communicate the contractual requirements of NEC 3 Contracts to Project team.
