JOB TITLE: Marketing and Communications Officer
SALARY & BENEFITS:Up to GBP22,500 pa
WORKING HOURS: 37.5 per week
THE COMPANY: Our client based in Sheffield are expert creators of beautiful designer meadows from both seed and PM Turf. Their approach is different here are no other meadow specialists quite like them.
THE ROLE: The Marketing and Communications Officer will spearhead our predicted growth through organised and effective marketing campaigns targeted at our various segmented markets. We know we have some amazing products and offer an unrivalled reputation for quality and customer satisfaction - what is missing at the moment is the right person to communicate this enthusiastically and effectively. You will be joining a happy and busy team in Sheffield.
Key Responsibilities of the Marketing and Communications Officer:
• Assist in the production and implementation of an effective and dynamic marketing plan to promote the products and services of Pictorial Meadows and Green Estate Ltd.
• Lead the delivery of high quality marketing materials and digital communications as key components of the PM marketing and communications strategy.
• Create new and exciting marketing campaigns in both print and digital formats to accelerate the expansion of the business in both the UK and overseas.
• Design, implement, monitor and evaluate communications to ensure relevant, positive and accurate messages are conveyed appropriately to our target audiences.
• Oversee and guide the use and development of the PM brand ensuring that communications are consistent, on message and effective.
• Monitor and maintain rigorous production processes, ensuring that all communications are proofed, edited and produced/launched to the highest possible quality and to deadline.
• Manage the company website and ensure that the information is up to date and news items are prepared and posted at least weekly.
• Manage the Google Adwords campaign and ensure that our website is as SEO efficient as possible.
• Act as the Social Media manager for PM and ensure that there is a systematic and dynamic programme of both Tweets and FB posts in place.
• Maintain a catalogue of images on the company server for use in marketing and PR materials.
• Actively search out new opportunities for PM and propose innovative new marketing campaigns in conjunction with the Commercial Director.

• Good knowledge of graphics packages and desk top publishing.
• A strong interest in and experience with social media.
• Strong IT skills.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofing skills.
• Strong understanding of print and digital processes.
• Ability to prioritise own work load
• Willingness and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Innovative and Creative thinker.
• A full, current UK driving licence
