The Basics

As a second line engineer at the Company you can earn up to £34,000 including overtime. You'll spend your time onsite in Central London on site with their clients in the financial sector.

You'll be working on a rotating shift between 6am and 7pm for 40 hours a week. If you're up for it - they'll send you on international business trips too.

They operate follow the sun support with four engineers based in New York or Hong Kong, but there is an on-call rota for the evenings and weekends - averaging roughly 10 calls a week. They'll provide you with a laptop and mobile for this.

The role focuses on providing deskside support to users and executives on-site, and you'll be heavily involved in configuring networks, firewalls, switches and routers as well as ad-hoc projects. They tend to find individuals with around 4 years' experience on a helpdesk suit the role best, but it's just as important to have a confident, cool composure and a desire to progress.
