We are now the leading provider of online learning solutions for Care, Support and Health and are recruiting to support its expansion plans.

We have an exciting new role within our organisation for an experienced Marketing Officer to join us and help support us as we grow. This role will also provide marketing support to our parent company.

The Role

We are looking for someone who can work within the team or on their own and take ownership, control and responsibility for all marketing projects allocated, ensuring they are delivered to client satisfaction, are fit for purpose and promote the interests of our business in the best way, whilst meeting deadlines and remaining within any budget limits set.

Key Responsibilities for the Marketing Officer position:

* Manage promotional activities and sourcing advertising opportunities
* Be the brand ambassador for the company
* Manage the companies websites content and messages, ensuring SEO optimisation and that they are always fit for purpose
* Understand the product range, solutions and offerings
* Monitor ongoing campaigns for effectiveness and Return on Investment
* Monitor competitors with particular reference to pricing, promotions and offerings
* Support senior leaders with marketing in all areas of the business
* Research the market and inform leaders of marketing threats or opportunities relating to the product, pricing strategy, or service delivery.
* Conduct market research to inform key business decisions
* Devise and implement a marketing strategy to meet the goals and objectives of the business, to be approved by senior leaders
* Design and develop a range of marketing materials, including brochures, posters, flyers, newsletters, e-newsletters and video, liaising with designers and printers as required

About You

The ideal Marketing Officer candidate will:

* Be educated to degree level in Marketing or in a related subject with work experience in a marketing role - this is desirable.
* Possess good analytical and creativity skills.
* Have a good understanding of and be able to evidence success in using digital media techniques.
* Feel confident to work on their own initiative with drive and passion, and also as part of a team.
* Have excellent communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills, including sound influencing and negotiation techniques.
* Be able to work under pressure and in a busy environment, remaining flexible to the needs of the work.
* Be IT literate.
* Have an understanding of the care, health, and housing sectors.
* Possess a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle to use for work purposes, showing a willingness to travel within the UK.
