Job Title: Communication and Events Volunteer Co-ordinator (Fixed term to cover Maternity Leave until May 2018)
Northumberland County Blind Association (NCBA), Morpeth.
NCBA is a small friendly charity helping, with the aid of volunteers, blind and partially sighted people throughout Northumberland.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team. The Communications and Events Volunteer Co-ordinator plays a key role within the organisation and is responsible for co-ordination and promotion of events and recruitment fairs, including the recruitment and ongoing training and support for volunteers.
The role will involve working alongside the Information and Services Manager and colleagues that deliver our Key Communications Project which is funded by the Big Lottery.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with volunteers and a proven ability to manage and monitor multiple projects and events.
