The Role - We are currently recruiting for an Estimator to join the team based in Plean on the outskirts of Stirling. The ideal candidate for the role will be an experienced Estimator or Surveyor with a proven track record in the building/construction industry. You’ll be a highly motivated self-starter, and have first-rate organisational skills and meticulous time management. You’ll be capable of delivering high levels of accurate, quality work with exceptional attention to detail, all within time restraints and pressures created by customer expectations. Able to work autonomously and equally well within a team, you will have a confident outlook and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as you will be expected to be comfortable collaborating with colleagues and contractors alike.

You will be responsible but not limited to the following duties:

• Produce accurate and detailed quotations for submission to our customers
• Liaise with senior management to plan and manage your own workload
• Liaise with customers, contractors, engineers and architects to discuss both practical and technical details
• Liaise with our own the technical and production departments to ensure that  our customers requirements are met

Essential experience and skills:

• Experience of pricing and/or surveying within a relevant industry
• Knowledge of general building construction and use of precast concrete elements
• Excellent communication skills including the ability to discuss customers requirements and present quotations.
• Ability to work independently as well as within the existing team

Advantageous experience and skills:

• Proficient in the use of AutoCAD or similar
