DESCRIPTION:

Client is a firm of Chartered Accountants. The Manchester office is currently recruiting for a high quality CT assistant.
The tax department has 9 staff and 2 partners across both personal and corporate tax work, and its client base is varied by size, sector and type.

Responsibilities:

Providing support to the CT department in terms of compliance – monitoring payment deadlines/filing deadlines and completing reviews on the more straightforward clients initially
Providing assistance in consultancy and advisory work as and when required

Person Specification:
12 months minimum experience within a corporation tax department is essential
ATT fully, part qualified or interested in pursuing the ATT qualification

Remuneration and benefits:
Salary in line with current market rates
Standard hours of work are from 9:00am to 5:30pm with one hour for lunch (37.5hrs/wk)
24 days holiday plus standard bank and public holidays

the salary being offered is in the range £20K to £30K depending on the level of previous tax experience and level of study support required (ie whether the candidate is beginning their qualification or part way through).
