Advocacy Management Team Lead – Advocacy & Related Services

As well as proven experience in a management or supervisory position, the successful candidate will have demonstrated their skills and abilities in delivering services within a contract framework. Previous experience of managing and supervising a team, encouraging and motivating them to deliver exceptional services is essential. You will have worked in an environment supporting adults who are vulnerable or disadvantaged, preferably in an advocacy related role. You will have a good understanding of advocacy, its principles and value.

You will have a passion for ensuring people’s rights are respected and their voice is heard and therefore the needs and interests of individuals will always be at the heart of everything you do. You will demonstrate personal integrity and professionalism, have a customer focused attitude, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to motivate and inspire those around you. It is important that you can demonstrate a commitment to the values of Onside, and show a willingness to work flexibly to meet the demands of a continuously developing organisation.
