Our client is a Further Education College offering a wide range of courses to over 5000 full time students and over 5650 part time students each year. The college currently works with over 50 high school partners, welcoming students from Bury and the surrounding areas.
Joining them as an Employment Advisor, you will provide efficient and effective front line Recruitment and Placement services; maintaining high standards of service not only to learners and potential learners but also to employers who provide employment and pre-employment opportunities.
Supporting the promotion of Employment Services and the equality of opportunity, diversity and inclusion in the areas of responsibility, you must support the generation of employment vacancies and placements and coordinate and monitor the transition process from interest, through to application and interview.
Maintaining a high profile, positive relationships and high standards of customer service with service users and stakeholders, you will work closely with key stakeholders including schools, Connexions, NAS, JCP and the National Careers Service and deliver efficient and effective recruitment and placement services leading to outstanding levels of service user satisfaction.
To be successful in this role, candidates must have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in a Business related specialism (or a willingness to work towards this) as well as experience of working in an advisory capacity with young people and/or adults. With experience of working in a customer relationship role in a public facing environment, you will have a background of supporting people to access information and to complete applications and a track record of achieving targets and delivering business services to meet targets, outputs, deadlines and quality standards.
Experience of working in an education or training environment, preferably with Apprenticeship provision is desirable.
