Sopra Steria Recruitment is working in partnership with a major public sector client in the UK. We are currently recruiting a Civil Engineer for an initially 9 month contract based in Lichfield.
Key tasks and deliverable
- The role will be leading a project to investigate options and a long term strategy for the River assets in Birmingham.
- It will involve working with key internal and external partners such as Birmingham City Council.
- The role may also involve managing discreet packages of flood risk maintenance work via external contractors.
Experience Required
- Civil engineer experienced in designing and managing water/river engineering type construction work.
- Hydraulic modelling and project management experience using NEC3 suite of contracts are also desirable.
