Job Description A company based in Warrington who play a major part in the supply, delivery and service of healthcare equipment for a number of high profile contracts is seeking a Rental Service Technician based in Warrington to join its expanding team. The Rental Service Technician should have the flexibility to work a shift rota system is required which may include weekends at times (which would include extra payments). Full training is given for the role.
In return, the Rental Service Technician will receive a salary of GBP19,000 - GBP25,000 per annum depending on experience. The first stage of the application process is to apply online. As the Rental Service Technician, your duties will be to:
- Load stock ready for delivery to various designated locations.
- Deliver, install, clean and repair products to customers.
- Clean, disinfect products and perform pre-delivery function inspections.
- Deal with minor breakdowns / servicing of products.
- Collect and return products back to the depot.
- Provide demonstration and basic training for products to caregivers.
- Complete activity reports and record / update all activities into relevant IT systems.
- Assist with training and supervise Junior Service technicians or temporary staff.
To be a successful Rental Service Technician you will have the following skills and experience:
- Previous driving experience driving 3.5 tonne + vehicles.
- Experience of installation of electrical and mechanical goods preferred.
- No more than 6 penalty points on licence, for insurance purposes.
- Flexible to working hours / days.
- Must be computer literate.
- Keen to undertake training and progress within the company.
- Must have a polite and professional attitude due to customer facing role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Due to the nature of the role, some heavy lifting maybe involved with this position.
