Temporary Part Time Building Officer

20 hours per week
£7.97 - £8.55 per hour. A Living Wage Allowance is payable on all hours worked to bring the pay rate for this post up to £8.45 per hour, the maximum rate of pay is £8.55 per hour

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at the newly refurbished Beeston Library, with a part-time Building Officer post available from July 2017. Our staff are core to our success; to work for Inspire is to work for a charity, membership body and social enterprise. We aim to be professional, friendly and customer focused. 

As a Building Officer, you will undertake a range of duties including opening and closing the building; welcoming room hirers and setting up meeting room facilities; cleaning; record keeping; carrying out minor repairs; patrolling the building, communicating with customers and contractors, and generally supporting staff in a variety of ways. You must be able to communicate in a friendly manner, be able to use your initiative and common sense and have experience or knowledge of caretaking or cleaning. 

You will have a flexible approach to hours worked including weekend and occasional evening work.
