Junior QA Software Tester

We are looking for a junior level QA Tester to join our company during an exciting period of growth.

We develop cloud-based software in-house for global healthcare organisations. Our software solutions are fundamentally changing the way healthcare organisations operate, helping to deliver better outcomes for patients.

You will need to display a passion for digital. You will be detail oriented, have a creative streak and an interest in UX best practices. You will need to be diligent and methodical in your working practices and have the ability to write test scripts.

You will be working with an existing team of cutting edge developers. You should enjoy the buzz of working in a fast-paced environment. Working on some cool, challenging projects, you will have ownership over your work.

Key competencies:

• Minimum of one years QA test work.
• Ability to work under pressure, unsupervised and using own initiative
• Adherence to web standards, best practices and software development methodologies
• Analytical and problem solving skills - ideally you are able to see solutions to problems before others
• An Understanding of HTML, CSS
• The successful candidate should possess an understanding of QA methodology and test scripting.
• Detail oriented for both design and functionality.
• Good writing skills and an ability to write test documents.
• The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

This role is an initial 6-month contract full-time role with a view to going permanent.

Benefits:

• £20,000 £22,000 per annum, pro rata across the 6 month period.
