Rumenco is a leading supplier of feed supplements to the Agricultural Industry with well-known brands and a growing market share.

We currently have a vacancy for a Production Coordinator reporting to and assisting the Production Manager and working closely with the Production Supervisors.  The main responsibilities of this role will include:

• Preparation of production and manning schedules
• Organising the supply of temporary labour as required
• Ensuring that appropriate staff training is provided and recorded
• Responsibility for the production site in the absence of the Production Manager
• Ensuring that production and quality procedures are followed
• Assisting with organisation of raw material stock checks
• Liaising with purchasing staff to ensure availability of raw materials for production schedules
• Managing procedures, transport and documentation for goods inwards and outwards
• Ensuring implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures
• Ensuring general housekeeping of the factory

The ideal candidate will have:

• Planning, communication and man-management skills
• Self-motivation and ambition
• Ability to foster a good relationship with colleagues
• Computer literacy
• Ability to prioritise workload effectively and meet deadlines

• Some knowledge of haulage standards and legislation
