Working in the Journalism cluster of the School of Film and Journalism, this post will focus on teaching and supporting students on BA (Hons) Journalism & PR.
We seek applicants who are excellent teachers, with a strong professional understanding of the field of Public Relations as well as Journalism. You will be familiar with theoretical concepts as well as emerging trends in practice.
This post will require someone with experience in developing modules and programmes and familiarity with academic processes. You will be expected to be research active and have a commitment to contribute towards the School's research objectives.
You will also develop links with external partners and look to develop programmes for professional accreditation.
This is a chance to join a dynamic journalism team based at UWE's City Campus delivering highly-rated programmes and with the ambition to develop them further.
This post is based at our City Campus in Bristol city centre which comprises of Bower Ashton Studios, Arnolfini, Spike Island and Watershed and is home to UWE Bristol's creative and cultural subjects. Through a combination of University sites and partnerships with creative and cultural organisations in the city, we have developed a network of cultural and creative spaces. These enable our students and staff to develop their professional practice in inspiring learning environments as well as provide opportunities for creative collaboration and networking.
