JOB TITLE: Legal Administrator



SALARY & BENEFITS: GBP16,000 - GBP18,000

WORKING HOURS: Full time / part time (FT hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday, 1 hour lunch)

With 100 staff and offices in Fareham, Havant, Chichester, Newport Isle of Wight our client has a strong presence and an outstanding reputation with various awards and accreditations to support their practice.

THE ROLE: Based at the client's Fareham office, this new and exciting role of a Legal Administrator will involve many aspects of office procedures and service level agreements. You will ensure the smooth running and high quality of various work types.

Key Responsibilities of the Legal Administrator to include:-


  • To work as a member of the central administration team; support and promote legal and commercial work
  • To give strong and consistent administration support for the firm's activities
  • To develop and maintain high levels of skill and knowledge individually and as a team which will be adapted to future requirements of the firm
  • Fast and accurate data entry on the firm's case management system
  • Conveyancing post-completion work
  • Online system support to clients
  • Client relations support
  • Case file opening
  • Case file archiving
  • Provide flexible support to members of the team as required
  • Cover reception when required
  • Ad-hoc general office administration
  • One-off projects which are best dealt with by the central administration team
