Embedded Software Engineer (Firmware Engineer) help with relocation

• Embedded Software Engineer - to work within the research and development team writing/testing software for exciting new digital audio mixing products.
• Write specifications/develop prototype code.
• Embedded Software Engineer - develop software to a high standard.
• Test, debug, and document code methodically.
• Embedded Software Engineer - developing software features for new and existing products.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS

• Degree or HND in Electronics/Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent knowledge.
• Min 2+ years experience in C Programming on Embedded systems or C and C++ on Embedded
• Ability to read circuit schematics.
• Experience programming Cortex, ARM, Freescale, PIC processors
• Digital electronic circuit design
• Electronic skills at component level (soldering, use of oscilloscopes, etc.)
• Understanding of serial communications, USB
• OO Software analysis & design
• Understanding of audio concepts
• Use of RTOS (Real Time operating system) on ARM based MCU ARM7 and Cortex
• Good English communications skills in both written and verbal skills to communicate at all levels with Internals and External Client/Stakeholders of the business.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

• C++ Programming
• Some experience or interest in audio.
• Digital Audio
• Digital Electronics

• Salary GBP30,000 - GBP45,000 per annum, depending on experience
