Senior Java Developer, Full Stack Developer

My client a leading IT solutions provider are seeking to recruit a Senior Java Developer to join there ever expanding team to work in new offices and an amazing and fun team focused environment.

You will bring the below skill set:

Essential

*Demonstrable development experience in Java 6/7/8
*Extensive experience using Spring Framework
*RESTful web services
*TDD - JUnit & mocking frameworks
*Building services hosted on Amazon's AWS
*Messaging (especially AWS SQS or AMQP, Rabbit MQ)
*noSQL Databases (such as Cassandra or DynamoDB)
*SQL Databases (especially MySQL)
*Experience using Design Patterns
*Effective personal organisation skills - logical, systematic, attention to detail
*Enthusiastic and ambitious self-starter - high energy levels; tenacious, willing to take ownership of tasks for you and your team
*Collaborative, creative and innovative solution-focused approach to problem solving
*Passion for delivering high quality, innovative software solutions to customers; from design, through to testing and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

*Understand technical and business requirements, design and develop features for high-performance, high-availability and scalable enterprise applications.
*Understand and apply test methodologies and frameworks to create unit and integration tests as required to support continuous integration and delivery.
*Actively participate and contribute ideas in project meetings and design workshops.
*Resolve technical issues, including occasional out-of-hours support, and strive to continuously improve our processes and products.
*Report openly and honestly on progress, highlighting issues before they become a problem.
*Keep up to date with market and technical developments. Share knowledge with colleagues.
*Comply with and follow organisational policies and procedures, including health and safety,
*Ensure that knowledge of products and services is kept up to date.
*Undertake activities to continuously develop personal skills and knowledge.
