Staffbase has been appointed to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to carry out planned & reactive maintenance activities at our client's busy production plant in Grantham.
The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive maintenance and repair work as required to ensure production output is maximised.
The role will include a variety of duties and tasks including but not limited to the following;
- Electrical fault find and repair, switch gear, contactors, relays, sensors.
- Control panel and distribution board wiring
- Assist with maintenance of production equipment and machinery including pumps, crushers, pulverisors, shredders, bailers, conveyors sytems, eddy separators, and weighing systems.
You will also be required to undertake PLC fault finding and repair work.
Candidates:
You will be a multi-skilled engineer with electrical bias.
Candidates must hold 17th Edition certification and applicants with good mechanical engineering knowledge & experience too.
You will also have excellent PLC fault finding / repair skills and candidates with PLC programming experience (including Siemens) will have an advantage.
Hours of work:
4 on 4 off Days / Nights (12 Hour Shift) + Overtime
