Cleaner (24 hours)
You will be responsible to the Cleaning Duty Manager for cleaning duties within various areas of the Centre, and keeping high standards of cleanliness required under Sport England's contract specification document and ensuring the welfare and safety of guests. You will work at Lilleshall Sports and Conferencing Centre for 24 hours per week. Your working hours would be a 4 over 7 day rota involving weekends. Lilleshall National Sports and Conferencing Centre is one of the UK`s National Sports Centres, training grounds and centres of excellence for the country`s leading sportsmen and women. It aims to provide a `World Class Experience`, where everything we do ensures that our customers are valued and their satisfaction and recommendation to others is paramount. The RoleTo carry out duties to include cleaning, washing, bed changing, sweeping, vacuum cleaning, mopping, scrubbing, emptying of litter bins, polishing and dusting of the designated areas and fixtures and fittings using, where appropriate, powered equipment. To change beds as required. To check bedrooms and bathrooms on a daily basis - emptying bins, vacuuming, general tidying, dusting and cleaning. To carry out thorough cleaning of rooms for incoming residents, including cleaning wash basins, mirrors, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting, changing bed linen, checking wardrobes for items left from previous occupants. To clean shower areas and toilets bathroom areas to the required standard. To count and record dirty linen, putting away returned laundry. To carry out general spring cleaning of all areas as necessary, including shampooing carpets, scrubbing shower area walls, cleaning down walls, window cleaning and descaling kettles. To take all rubbish to on site skips. To prepare requisition slips for cleaning stores and collect when ready. To keep cleaning stores clean, tidy and ensure chemicals are stored safely. To carry out and support high level cleaning as necessary To prepare requisition slips for cleaning stores and collect when ready. To carry out any other reasonable duties required across the site. To have a "can do, will do, with pleasure" culture within all aspects of the service of the Centre.
