Job Overview:
The Lead Business Analyst is a strategically aligned role and will lead the strategic direction and capability of the Business Analysis professional services team, in the provision of analytical services to support the delivery of fit for purpose client solutions that meet the client's requirements and needs, within the Williams Lea Tag EMEA business.

The Lead Business Analyst will organise delivery strategies aligned to the WLT Target Operating Model, by selecting the right projects for prioritising the work into the BA team working alongside Lead colleagues from the delivery teams, specifically the Lead Project Managers and Lead PMO Analyst, providing the most appropriate BA resources and ensuring the most appropriate methodology is followed. The Lead Business Analyst will be required to balance conflicting demands between projects, allocating resources based on organisational priorities and capacity, and manage so as to achieve the benefits identified.

The Lead Business Analyst is jointly responsible for monitoring and managing the pipeline portfolio by establishing a BA professional service function that encompasses all areas of the WLT business and guiding the selection, prioritisation, balancing, and termination processes for portfolio components to ensure alignment with organisational strategy. In this capacity, you will provide key stakeholders and the Project Management Group Director, with timely assessment of portfolio and component performance and assist decision makers with the review, reprioritisation, and optimisation of the portfolio within the Project Steering Group.

You will be expected to ensure timely and consistent communication to stakeholders on progress, impacts, and changes associated with management of the portfolio and participate in project reviews (steering groups and control boards) to reflect senior level support, leadership, and involvement in important issues. Responsibilities also include business process analysis and re-engineering, requirement elicitation and documentation, due diligence analysis and writing bespoke reports.

This is an influential high profile position within Williams Lea Tag and will therefore require strong management and leadership capability to realise the function and business objectives associated with being the investment, employer and our customer's partner of choice.

This permanent job opportunity will be based in Norwich, Norfolk; working Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm. Travel to Williams Lea Tag and client sites within the UK may be required from time to time.

Required Experience:
We are looking for an exceptionally talented and technically aware Lead Business Analyst, ideally from a business process outsourcing (BPO), print, transactional mail, highly regulated, financial or public sector background with a proven track record in management / leadership roles with several years demonstrable medium to high complexity Business Analysis experience. You will be experienced in managing full project lifecycle throughout the implementation process of commercial outsourcing deals, managing 3rd party suppliers and working across an outsource service provider/customer interface.

You will also have demonstrable leadership skills, influencing skills, technical/IT awareness and ability to identify new technologies and tools. Experience of working with diverse subject content and varied approaches that are highly complex requiring well-developed analytical thinking skills along with the ability to undertake a broad mix of technical, operational, supplier management and client facing tasks will be necessary to be successful in this role.
