Integrated Working & Family Support Early Help Locality Team Manager (North Hub)

£37,306 - £39,177

We are looking for a driven and innovative manager who wants to make a real difference to the lives of the children, young people and their families who need our support.

The Early Help service has been operational for over two years. In that time, the geographical co-location of a range of family intervention workers has had a positive impact on outcomes for service users.

You will be required to take a lead role in further integrating a range of services offering support functions including family support, family engagement, youth worker, counselling and the education welfare service. You will be required to take a creative and proactive role in shaping these services and ensuring there is synergy between them.

You will work closely with with relevant Safeguarding Team Managers to ensure appropriate referral pathways, management of risk and step up and step down of cases between both teams.

The vision is to ensure that services meet the needs of families seamlessly and this is a key role in supporting the Group Manager for Integrated Working and Family Support to drive this transformation forward whilst supporting staff through this programme of change. Embedding the Team around the Family and Team around the School approach is key to the transformation agenda.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Mark Lewis (Group Manager, Integrated Working and Family Support) on 01656 642679.

Applicants should note that a criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) will be necessary for the successful applicant.

Closing Date: 5th July 2017
