A well established large organization is recruiting for a waking night support workers for their supportive living service in Radstock / Midsomer Norton. You will mainly be supporting with a very fun and active Gentleman who has Autism and may display challenging behaviour.
Main Job Role:
- Help assist the clients to bed
- Do regular checks on clients and record this in their care plans
- If he wakes up during the night, offer them food, drink, spend time with them and assist them with anything else (try get them back to sleep)
- Sometimes he may need assistant with some personal care
Qualifying candidates:
- Experience with Autism & Epilepsy will be an advantage
Contract / Terms:
- Salary is GBP12,948 per annum = GBP8.30 an hour
- You will work 30 hours per week between Mondays to Fridays + alternative weekends
- Shifts are 10pm - 8am
Benefits (pro rota):
- Full training and will also get put through the NVQ qualification
- 25 days holiday + 8 bank holiday = 32 in total
- 6 months sick pay (3 months full pay and 3 months half pay)
- Cycle to work scheme
