My client requires an experienced CNC Programmer/Leading Hand proficient in setting and operating Fanuc and Mitsubishi to join their sub contract machine shop.

The working hours are 39 hours per week, 7am – 4pm Monday to Thursday and 7-12 on a Friday

Typical Working Day:

• Working to tight prototype lead times,
• You will have the ability to program, set, prove out and machine complex components in aluminium, Titanium, stainless and steel materials.

Requirements:

• You will have served a recognised apprenticeship and hold the relevant qualifications, with a proven machining background of at least 5 years in a fast paced precision engineering environment.
• Extensive knowledge of setting and operating multi axis machine tools to achieve maximum efficiency and the highest quality standards machining precision components.
• Considerable CNC working knowledge of Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls
• The unique ability to work to tight prototype lead times, consistently reproducing high quality machined products.
• Work well as part of team and prepared to be flexible to meet the needs of the team & customer demand.

Benefits Include:

• • Full time permanent position with an hourly rate of £14 - £15 per hour dependent upon experience.
• • 2 x 15 minute breaks & ½ an hour lunch
• • 20 days holiday per year and additional bank holidays. Rising to 25 days in 2nd year
