What are the responsibilities of the Senior Product Marketing Manager?
A varied and challenging marketing role, based in Cambridge, UK but with opportunities for international travel and collaboration with colleagues around the world. You will be working within the English Language Teaching (ELT) Adult Business Unit, leading on product marketing activities, with a particular focus on American-English courses for adults, sold primarily in the Americas and Asia.
Working very closely with Publishers and Editors, the role is a link between product development and sales and marketing, with an expectation that the Product Marketer will be contributing insights and expertise from the research stages right through to product launch and post-launch activities.
What do we look for in a Senior Product Marketing Manager?
You will be an experienced, customer-focused Senior Marketing Manager, or a Marketing Manager looking to take the next step up in your career. We are looking for a confident, capable communicator, just as comfortable talking at large conferences as you are writing clear, succinct reports and customer-facing marketing copy.
You will have an extremely strong relationship with our six behavioural values; collaborative, decisive, empowering, innovative, responsible and responsive.
You should have a solid understanding of the principles of marketing, be highly numerate and prepared to undertake data analysis, and also capable of leading on innovative and measurable marketing campaigns that will resonate with students, teachers and high-level decision makers. There is the potential for line reports so it is expected that you will have had some experience managing teams or individuals, and ideally you will have come from an English Language Teaching (ELT) background or had some experience in this area although this is not essential.
