The Role:
Looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their team!! You will manage/lead a portfolio of strategic, business critical change projects, specifically targeted to help achieve their vision over the next five years
Main responsibilities:
- Develop benefits plans for the vision critical projects in conjunction with the Heads of Finance and Project Leads
- Develop robust stakeholder plans
- Manage all aspects of the portfolio, adopting governance / Project Management approach to ensure the Project is delivered on time
- Manage and execute projects from any part of the life cycle (Concept, Assessment, Definition, Implementation, Closure)
- Accountability for project performance and delivery of defined scope
- Prepare and implement project work schedules and project planning, liaising with specialist areas across the organisational matrix
- Prepare monthly financial and progress reports
- Manage external stakeholders, sub-contractors/work partners to ensure contract requirements are achieved
- Support company policy with security / data protection
- Own the project backlog, ensure that agile methodologies are followed
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrable experience of leading a portfolio of business critical projects is preferable
- Strong experience of working with and advising senior management teams, including board level
- Demonstrable working knowledge of project/programme management principles, processes & techniques within in a controlled project environment
- Proven practical application of risk management with medium risk projects
- Confident approach to work content scope management
- Experience working with and delivering using Agile and Waterfall project methodologies
- Experience working with multiple organisations across multiple time zones
- Experience in Prince 2 Foundation &/or Practitioner, APM, PMI, CPM etc
- Microsoft Project software
