Installation Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a specialist engineering company, based in the East Midlands (Hinckley), as an Installation Technician within the Projects Division.

The Company is a world leader in providing high quality engineered Products and Materials to Global Industries, complemented by our specialist Installation and Industrial Measurement Services.

The Candidate should be self-motivated, with a positive can-do attitude and willing to work both within a team, as well as individually.

Highly desirable experience in following areas would be an advantage, however all technicians are supported with in-house and external training programmes:

• Construction site experience. CSCS card would be beneficial
• Mechanical and/or Civil engineering experience
• Lifting operations
• Slinger/Banksman
• Working to Risk Assessments and Method Statements
• Working under company quality management systems
• Use of alignment/levelling instruments

  The successful candidate will join an energetic, dynamic and professional team to deliver the following services:

• Precision Machine & Equipment levelling
• Equipment/Bed plate Installation
• Major Projects: Full turnkey vibration isolation systems
• Onshore/Offshore grouting services

  The Company operates on a worldwide basis across a wide portfolio of sectors, so the successful candidate will be expected to travel extensively within the UK and overseas. Recent project locations include UK, Europe, China, and California.

  The pay is competitive and dependent upon experience.

  The hours of work will vary from project to project so flexibility to work overtime during the week and at weekends is vital.
